Finally, after the long wait, the next version of the Google family, which is the latest version of the Android operating system, has been released. Google has named the Android 9.0 version as the Android pie. Google's pixel smartphones such as pixel SX, pixel 2, pixel XL2 have also started getting updates. First method:
First of all, you download its OTA in Google pixel smartphones. You can check by going to User System> System Updates> Check Updates to get updates. After receiving the update, you can download it in your phone.
Second Method:
If you can not wait until you get OTA, then another way can also be used. For this, you have to connect your device with a computer using USB. Then you have to install the Android SDK on the system with ADB and Fastboot command support. Apart from this, 7zip software also needs to be installed. You can then unlock the bootloader.
How To Unlock Bootloader -
1. Go to the About Phone and enable the Developer option then tap on the Build Number several times and after that, you will get a pop up which will be written 'Now you are a Developer'.
2. Enable USB debugging and OEM unlocks in the Developer option.
3. Connect your pixel smartphone and PC by the USB cable and open the command window in it.
4. Now boot the pixel device into bootloader mode and this command will be the ADB reboot bootloader.
5. Then give Fastboot Flushing unlock command.
6. After this pop up will be a confirmation screen, now to start the unlocking process, press Volume up to highlight YES and power button.
7. Once unlocked, your device will reboot into the bootloader mode. Fastboot to finish the process. And by doing so, the new OS Android Pie will be on your phone.
Note- Use the second method carefully, otherwise, the phone may also get dead.
